What We Install

Trex Composite

The fence Utah County asks us about most — particularly through Provo, Lehi and American Fork. No staining, no sealing, no fading, and engineered for wind loading, which matters more at the mouth of these canyons than most people expect. It costs more than vinyl up front and nothing at all afterwards, which is the trade worth understanding before you choose.

Vinyl

The default in the newer subdivisions. Full privacy, HOA-friendly, and it stays white without maintenance. Specify it on wall thickness and UV rating rather than colour — thin panel chalks quickly at this elevation.

Wood

Cedar and treated pine, set on posts below frost line. The cheapest route to a tall privacy fence, and the one that needs staining to keep its colour.

Ornamental Iron

Front yards, pool enclosures and view lots along the east bench, where a solid fence would cost you the mountain view you paid for.

Chain Link

Dog runs, side yards, back property lines and job sites. Galvanised or black vinyl-coated.

Repairs and Tear-Outs

Leaning posts, wind damage, rotted bottom rails, a gate that has not latched properly in two years. We repair what is worth repairing, say so when it is not, and haul the old fence away either way.

What Utah County does to a fence

Wind off the Point of the Mountain and the canyons. The stretch through Lehi and the mouth of American Fork Canyon takes gusts that pull under-built fences apart. Post depth and panel rating are not the place to save money here.
Freeze-thaw. Posts set above frost line heave over a winter. We set below it, on gravel, so the line stays straight.
Clay soil. Much of the valley floor swells and shrinks with moisture, which is why some fences lean after two seasons and others do not.
High-altitude sun. It chalks thin vinyl and fades cheap composite faster than the packaging suggests.

Permits and HOAs

Utah County cities each set their own fence rules — most require a permit above six feet and enforce clear-view triangles at corners and driveway approaches. The newer subdivisions through Lehi, Saratoga Springs and Eagle Mountain almost always add HOA approval on top, usually a colour and material submittal.

We handle the paperwork. It is part of the job, not an extra.
