The most common request in West Jordan's newer subdivisions. Full privacy, HOA-friendly, and it stays white without maintenance.

Wood

Cedar and treated pine, set on posts below frost line. The cheapest route to a six-foot privacy fence, and the one that needs staining to stay looking new.

Ornamental Iron

Front yards, pool enclosures, and anywhere a boundary should not block the view. Powder-coated for the winters.

Chain Link

Dog runs, side yards, property lines, and job sites. Galvanized or black vinyl-coated.

West Jordan Permits and HOA

West Jordan requires a permit for fences over six feet and enforces clear-view triangles at corner lots and driveway approaches. Most of the newer subdivisions add HOA approval — usually a color and material submittal. We handle it.

What West Jordan Does to a Fence

Open, flat exposure. Much of West Jordan has nothing upwind of it. Wind takes out under-built fences here as reliably as it does on the bench.
Freeze-thaw. Shallow-set posts heave over a winter. We set below frost line, on gravel, so the line stays true.
Clay soil. Large parts of the west side sit on expanding clay that swells and shrinks with moisture. It changes how posts get set and it is why some fences lean after two seasons.
High-altitude sun. It chalks cheap vinyl and fades cheap composite. We install what is rated for it.
