What We Install

Trex Composite

Vinyl

Popular in the newer Draper subdivisions because HOAs approve it easily and it stays white without work. Good privacy, no rot, no insects.

Wood

Cedar and treated pine, built on posts set deep enough for Utah frost. Wood is the cheapest way to a tall privacy fence and the one that needs the most upkeep — we will tell you which of those matters more for your lot.

Ornamental Iron

For front yards, pool enclosures and view lots where you want a boundary without losing what you are looking at.

Chain Link

Dog runs, side yards, back property lines, and anywhere the job is containment rather than appearance. Galvanized or black vinyl-coated.

Repairs and Tear-Outs

Leaning posts, wind damage, a section a tree came down on. We repair what is worth repairing and say so when it is not — and we haul the old fence away either way.

Draper Permits and HOA

Draper requires a permit for any fence over six feet, and enforces setbacks on corner lots and along the arterial roads. Most Draper subdivisions also run HOA approval on top of that, and the equestrian zones on the east side have their own rules about what can go where.

We handle the submittals — color samples, spec sheets, site plan. It is part of the job, not an extra.

What Draper Does to a Fence

Wind off Traverse Ridge and Suncrest. The gusts on the bench take out under-built fences every winter. Post depth and panel rating are not places to save money here.
Freeze-thaw. Posts set shallow heave. We set below frost line, on gravel, so the line stays straight.
High-altitude sun. It fades vinyl and chalks cheap composite. We install products rated for it.
Clay soil. Parts of Draper sit on expanding clay that moves with moisture. It changes how the posts get set.
